About Broadband Top 10

Independent comparison, built on whole-contract costs

We compare UK broadband providers on the figures that matter across the full contract: monthly cost, setup fees, speed, contract length and usage. Providers do not buy placement in our tables.

How we verify and fund our comparisons

Tariff terms are checked against provider information every week, and every figure is recalculated over the full contract rather than taken from headline introductory rates. Where a provider changes its terms, we update the comparison and note the date of the change. Broadband Top 10 is funded by affiliate partnerships. When you follow a link to a provider and sign up, we may receive a commission. This never changes a provider's position in the comparison, and the affiliate relationship is disclosed on every page where it applies.

Our sorting and filtering run on the same underlying data for every provider, so the order you see reflects the criteria you choose, not who pays us. If a figure looks wrong, our editorial team reviews it and corrects the comparison.

Our commitments

Three principles we follow

Each one shapes how we build and maintain the comparison.

Honest total costs

Whole-contract pricing

We show the average monthly cost alongside the total contract cost, so introductory discounts cannot hide the real price.

Transparent hardware

Setup and equipment fees

Router, installation and activation charges are shown as separate figures, so you can compare what you actually pay to start.

No hidden penalties

Clear exit terms

Early exit charges and contract length are listed for each provider, so you can judge the commitment before you sign.
